This hat can be made with any worsted (3) yarn of your choice. I personally would recommend the yarn I used because of things like fit, drape, texture, etc. The smallest details are considered in the end result when I design handmade pieces. Think of it as a recipe. If one ingredient is changed, then the final result can be different. Sometimes dramatically. I still encourage you to be creative.

The Boyfriend Hat was designed with nostalgia in mind. Me being a male knit designer, I can say it is very welcoming and it makes us feel like you’re becoming a part of our life. So when your girlfriend is not wearing it and we go to put it on, hang it up, or wash it, we pause. It becomes nostalgic. Maybe even the scent triggers the best of memories. I believe these feelings can go both ways. Your love wearing your clothes or accessories can definitely be the cutest of things.
