Boyne Gent Cardigan
Men deserve lovely hand knits too! This design is complicated enough to keep the knitter interested, but simple enough that the man it’s knit for will actually wear it. If you are one of the rare men knitters, lucky you! You know you’ll like it. The rest of us have to try to read our gent’s minds…
This cardigan is very simple to knit; it is comprised of basic stitches to make a lovely pattern so you can knit it up quickly and easily. The style is universally flattering to a variety of body types. The pattern stitches on the front, sleeves, and back can easily be switched out for different patterns or omitted for a more basic cardigan. This is a really versatile jumping-off point!
I have included in this pattern an option to knit it with or without contiguous pockets. The pockets are worked completely in line with the main knitting, so there is absolutely no seaming! Do pockets without seams seem too good to be true? Go ahead and give it a try! I know you’ll be pleased.
