You will need:
3 white and 3 blue two-ounce skeins of featherweight knitting worsted,
2 one-ounce skeins of white 3-ply fingering yarn,
one pair each of numbers 1, 3 and 6 standard knitting needles
No 3 steel crochet hook
4 each 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch plastic rings for buttons
3/4 inch wide elastic in waistband measurement
small pieces of felt for boat trim.

Gauge: Stripe Pattern - 7 sts equal 1 inch with number 6 needles
Stockinette St - 7 sts equal 1 inch with number 3 needles
