Boysenberry Ripple is a generously sized, squishy toque (or beanie), with a ribbed cable pattern that blends continuously through the folded brim into the body of the hat.

The 2 x 2 ribbing and wide stocking stitch sections show off the colour variations in speckled or variegated yarn, but the hat is also suitable for knitting in a solid yarn.

One 4oz (115g) skein of DK yarn is all that is needed. (The hat uses 218m of yarn).

The pattern is given in two sizes, adult and child, and includes charts as well as full written instructions, so you can choose which to follow.

It is an easy knit requiring some basic cabling that is fully explained in the notes.
