You must know how to knit brioche to knit this shawl.
The stitches are described in the abbreviations and at the
end of the pattern is a chart for those who prefer these
kind of instructions.
There are two versions of this pattern, a fingering version
and a DK version.
MATERIALS:
For the fingering version:
20 gr of Malabrigo Mechita for colour A (main colour) and
for 20 gr of Malabrigo Mechita for colour B,or yarn of
similar characteristics, for 2.5 to 3 mm needles depending
on your tension and a 40 cm cable for the body of the hat
and 80cm cable for the top coronation (using magic loop
technique)
For the DK version:
30 gr of Malabrigo Rios for colour A (main colour) and for
20 gr of Malabrigo Mechita for colour B,or yarn of similar
characteristics, for 4 to 4.5 mm needles depending on your
tension and a 40 cm cable for the body of the hat and
80cm cable for the top coronation (using magic loop
technique)
