Brackish
This wonderfully wooly colorwork hat was designed on a dark winter retreat to Stockholm. The Swedish capital city spans over fourteen islands that make up part of the archipelago where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. This meeting of salty and fresh waters creates what is called brackish water.
The playful colorwork design found in this pattern moves from a ecru background to a green and finally a dark mottled grey background, mimicking the mingling of waters in this unforgettable city.
