I looked and looked for a pattern that I really liked for little bum flap pants! I couldn’t find what I wanted, so I made my own!

Pattern uses easy to get yarns in worsted weight (because I have more of that than baby weight) and larger hooks, I list this as an easy pattern.

Pants are worked all in one piece, the flap buttons closed and can be left open to let the baby’s bum peek out for that special photo!

I (5.5mm) and J (6.0mm) hooks for the pants and an H (5.0mm) for the beanie and one skein of ww yarn is what you’ll need. I made both pieces with one skein and had quite a bit of yarn left over.
