My son is difficult to buy for, and I wanted to make something special for his 30th birthday, so I designed “Brad’s Tool Belt”. He’s a millwright, who has a lot of tools. Some of the tools he inherited from my dad, with old wooden handles, which is how I designed this, to have that vintage feel.

It’s a repeat blanket, but the repeat is large (90 stitches), so I only did two of them, therefore in total I had 183 stitches. Repeat what is between the *( )* for as many repeats as needed.

The blanket can be done in traditional mosaic (two colours) or using tapestry mosaic (more than two colours). Rows that use tapestry mosaic, for example the verniers in the “divider rows”, are indicated with multiple colours.

Yarn
I use a 4 ply yarn. The brand for all my yarn is “Pound of Love”, with the exception of the black yarn (brand is “Bernat SuperValue”).
You can use any yarn; however, the size of the blanket may change.
