Braes and Glens
Braes and Glens (or Hills and Valleys) is a toe up sock with a textured chevron pattern. The pattern uses a gusset and heel flap although you can easily substitute your preferred heel. Braes and Glens is a really relaxing intuitive knit - is a perfect project to take when you’re on the go, or just to chill with while watching TV.
The pattern is fully written and includes charts for the textured pattern so however you like to read your patterns, you’re covered! The pattern also includes a photo tutorial for German short rows used in the heel. The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern, and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos. You will also need to know how to do Judy’s Magic Cast-On and a stretchy bind off like Jeny’s Suprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off.
