Braided Baby Cocoon
This is a cozy classic pattern for a baby, wrapping it in love. The design allow for the front to be undone to allow the baby to be placed in the cocoon easily. The Hood is narrow to allow for very little for the baby to wrap it’s head around.
I used the 60 peg 1/2” gauge CinDwood Loom, or if you can find a loom with 60 pegs close to that gauge.
I used 3 skeins, and a very small amount of a 4th to complete this project, in the Lions Brand Hometown USA.
You will need a stitch holder and buttons.
The pattern comes with a variety of tools to help you along the way. Video, picture, diagram, and written instructions.
This is an intermediate pattern, this pattern uses cables, increases, decreases and yarn overs. It also has sewing involved.
