Braided Baby Hat
Who doesn’t love tiny hats on little baby heads? I designed this hat to be a quick gender neutral option, with some fun texture to keep it interesting for the maker. The braided motif reminds me of tiny hearts and symbolizes all the love encircling these babies as they come into the world.
This pattern is written using standard US terminology and abbreviations. The hat is worked top down in the round, joining at the end of each round. This hat looks great in a single colorway, but you can also use a contrast color for the braided motif for some extra pop.
Stitches: dc, post stitches, braided puff stitch (tutorial included)
Techniques: braided puff stitch, working in the round
