This top-down raglan sleeve cardigan features braided bands that are created from rows of lateral braids. It is knitted with one strand of lace and fingering weight yarn held together, but 3 strands of lace weight yarns or a single strand of DK weight yarn can also be used. Pattern instructions are provided for both long and short sleeve versions, and for boxy or gentle A-line shaping to the body. The cardigan sits 15cm/6” below natural waist. and is designed to be worn with 10-15 cm (4 - 6”) of positive ease.

Short sleeve version pictured is the boxy version worn with 15cm (6”) of positive ease, using a fingering and lace weight strand held together. Long Sleeve version pictured is the A-line shaping worn with 10cm (4”) ease.
