This knitting pattern is for these cute Aran Braided Cable fingerless gloves suitable for ladies and teenagers.

They are knitted up with Aran/Worsted weight yarn on 4.5mm straight knitting needles. They are knitted up flat and seamed up leaving a gap for your thumb. I would allow 100 grams of yarn to make these, but you will probably only need around 50-60grams. The amount of yarn depends on the brand you choose.

They are great for driving, shopping and using your mobile phone without having to take your gloves on and off.

I’ve made lots of these over the years as gifts and they’ve been well received.
