About:
My Braided River Hat design is inspired by the braided rivers in the South Island of our beautiful New Zealand. This hat is Knit in the round, using DK yarn, on 4mm needles, with a pattern flowing up the centre of the hat. The pattern consists of a braided cable, set in between two faux cables.

Sizes to fit approximately: 33cm (newborn), 40cm (6-12m), 48cm (child), 54cm (adult).

Recommended Yarn:
Pearl DK 50g, (113 metres) from Skeinz NZ. This is a beautiful blend of fine merino, alpaca, and silk. You could also use any DK yarn that meets the gauge.
