I used the old Softee Chunky which is a little bit thinner than the new one. Any bulky yarn, including the new Softee Chunky, will work find. Your scarf may end up just a tad longer and thicker, so it depends on what you’d like. If you want something thinner, you can used worsted weight yarn and a J hook, but you may need a longer beginning chain for the strands.
