Here in Part 1 of braided scarf and braided hat set you will learn how to crochet braids and how to turn them into scarf. In the second part you will how to turn the braids into hat.

The materials which we will need for this scarf are:

• 1.5 skein solid color of acrylic yarn and 1.5 skein of self-stripe yarn I bought mine from our local store and the brand is Nako Vals which is Worsted (9 wpi) weight and is 262 yards(240 meters) and 100gr per ball. The 2 colors I used are Nako Vals - solid light grey color and 86385. You can use Scheepjes Wanderlust in color Zanzibar and Lion Brand Landscape they have almost the same colors with slight differences.
• 4 mm crochet hook size
• tapestry needle
• pair of scissors

The final measurements:
The scarf is long/wide 1m and is suitable for 14-16 teenage or adult small size.
