This pattern is for an adult sized skullcap/ beanie. There are directions for adjusting the size for circumference and length.

The main portion of the hat is a simple SC beanie and the brains are worked onto that with surface crochet.

This is a great beginner pattern because there is no right or wrong way to make the brains. just put them on squiggly! There are lots of pictures to show what pattern I put the brains on though so you can see the process.

This would make a great hat for the March for Science or a halloween costume or brain surgeons :D
