Brain Flower
This is the ultimate in TV, Zoom meeting, or childcare knitting. You can space out for a lot of this piece, and keep going if you like!
Other than being easy, it’s also unique; not quite a triangle, but definitely involves triangles. Each section grows faster than the last, resulting in a very wearable, exciting piece. It’s a bit addictive, while still easy--there is nary a purl, and the only stitches you need to know how to use are knit, yarn-over, kfb, and k2tog. You only really need to ever count the stitches in the smallest section (on the left side) and you can be in control of your color changes.
If you’re using Naima’s special kits, which include 1 full skein (462 yards), 2 half skeins (261 yards each) and 2 mini skeins (90 yards each), there is an accompanying PDF that instructs in detail the order in which I ordered the colors. Please use it if you want something similar, or if you have similar quantities of other yarns in your stash.
