This hat is based on the Futurama brain slugs. It has a stockinette stitch front panel and 3x1 ribbing to allow for comfort on range of head sizes. The antennae are stuffed with polyester fiberfill.

Red Heart Soft 4430 Guacamole and Cascade 220 in 7814 chartreuse both work well color-wise for this pattern

It takes approximately 150 yards worsted weight for hat and 10-12 yards of white for the eye
