Bramble Bunny is choosing what to wear today … there is a pretty summer dress, skirt, sweater, jacket and shoes to choose from.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bunny and outfits are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

To add to Bramble’s wardrobe, there are also some free patterns to knit your bunny a Winter Outfit, Pretty Party Outfit and Summer Set.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Hayfield Bonus DK
Double knitting/light worsted weight, 100% acrylic
One 100g/280m skein in each colour will be more than adequate

NOTIONS
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
A 3.5mm crochet hook to make the dress straps and shoe straps (US E/4)

SIZES
One size only - Bramble is approximately 20cm tall when standing, from feet to tips of ears.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, all pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight single-pointed knitting needles. The dress straps and shoe straps are single crochet chains worked on a crochet hook. The dress pattern incorporates Fair-isle (stranded) colour-work. You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
