Bramble Cowl
Hi! I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m taking a break from managing my
Ravelry Patterns and store. I’ve put all the patterns in “inactive” mode. If you have any questions about patterns you have purchased please direct message me. I will be checking messages occasionally and will try and provide support. The links to my free patterns still work through my blog. Thank you!
This cowl was designed for my oldest daughter who lives in England. It is quite blustery and gray there. She needed some brightness and something to keep the wind and rain at bay.
This is a stretchy cowl that looks a lot bulkier than it feels. The stitch is a modified “bramble” stitch. It knits up quickly on needles larger than the gauge called for on the yarn tag.
I had so much fun putting together different color combinations.
I used Madelinetosh Vintage, two skeins, one of each color.
Knitting the gauge swatch was the hardest part. There are instructions for gauge in the pattern but feel free to contact me if you have any questions ms_ellaneous@charter.net
