The Bramble Crown was inspired by my two young boys who love to visit our local castle ruins in North East Scotland and play pretend that they are the Kings. It gets very windy at the top of the hill so they needed something to keep their ears warm. What better than a cosy crown to allow them to play to their hearts content whilst keeping their ears toasty warm.

The Bramble crown has multiple uses; as a dress up accessory, earwarmer, special celebration crown or even as a flatlay prop

This pattern is written in 5 sizes: Newborn, Baby, Infant, Toddler and Child.

For this pattern you will need:

• Super Chunky yarn (#5)
• a 7mm, 8mm and/or 9mm hook (depending on size being made)
• Large eye tapestry needle
• Scissors

Gauge is not especially important for this pattern but you should check the length of your first row before joining and see how well it stretches.

Some yarns have more give than others. If you feel your crown will not stretch to the correct size try going up or down a hook size or altering your tension.
