Get in touch with your inner witch and whip up a magical Bramble Witch hat today!

This fun accessory was inspired by my love of fairytales and Appalachian culture. Is there anything more magical than a spiral of fairy stair mushrooms? Anything more delicious than a bramble full of ripe berries? Anything more exciting than being one with the woods? I don’t think so, either.

This pattern includes the Bramble Witch hat and optional accessories, as well as the Christmas variant that I just couldn’t help myself in making. This is such a versatile hat base that you could adapt it to fit just about any occasion. What kind of witch will you be?

Your purchase includes a written pattern, photos, and construction notes for an average adult size (~22”) head for both the Bramble Witch and Christmas Bramble versions of the hat and troubleshooting from me should you need it.

This pattern involves a fair bit of shaping, assembly, and some special stitches. Aside from a very basic overview of special stitches, the pattern assumes that you know how to crochet at an intermediate level or above.
