Brambling
by Linda Wilgus
Brambling is a slouchy beret featuring a crossed cable pattern that grows smaller towards the top, resulting in a flower shape around the center of the hat. The beret is knit from the bottom up on a circular needle, with the shaping incorporated in the cable pattern. Knit in a chunky yarn, Brambling knits up quickly and if a pure wool yarn is used, this hat will surely keep your head warm! The stretchy ribbed brim ensures a perfect fit for most women. The pattern comes in written instructions.
