Brambly Mitts
Brambly, a pair of mitts inspired by the beloved Brambly Hedge stories by Jill Barklem and the protective hedgerows that shelter nature’s little creatures through winter. Designed for Worsted Grey, these mitts celebrate the beauty of this special yarn, with its warm, frosted hues reminiscent of brambles dusted with frost and early signs of spring peeking through the undergrowth.
The Brambly mitts feature a folded rib cuff and a delicate slip stitch detail on the hand. Brambly is a simple, thoughtful design. The plump, soft texture of Worsted Grey makes these mitts a pleasure to knit and wear, bringing a touch of warmth to late-winter days.
Designed to use just one skein of yarn, Brambly is the perfect project for when you’re looking for a quick knit during a cold snap.
Full of storybook charm, Brambly is a small celebration of winter’s beauty and the promise of spring.
