I wrote this pattern keeping the spring season in mind, while the seed-stitched borders are a similitude to the flower buds and the middle pattern is similar to leaves springing out of branches.

It is a 12-row repeat pattern, knitted in flat and then seamed at the end. The size is for an adult but if fewer repeats are done, you can knit it for a smaller head as well.

• 6mm knitting needles
• scissors, measuring tape and tapestry needle
