The pattern calls for 100% cotton 8/4 yarn in black and white.

This is a classic tailcoat. The sleeves are worked in white at the end to mimic sleeve cuffs showing past the ends of the sleeves. The coat is designed to be worn with pattern B198 (white vest and black pants.)
