Brayne is a scarf-shawl cross with a knit-on lace edge and gently pointed ends.
An elegant variation to the traditional scarf, wear it long, looped, pulled through, or tucked up as a cowl. A beautiful design to show of your brooches and shawl pins!
An easy stockinette knit, with a bit of lace on every row to keep it interesting.
Lightweight and squishy in a fantastic sport weight merino by Dye for Wool - their colors are wonderful! Easily substitute a skein of sock yarn.
Size: 8 x 61” after blocking
Yarn: 1 skein Dye for Wool Merino Sport (350y/100g; 100% organic merino superwash) color “Grandpa’s Trousers”
Needles: US 4 (3.5mm) straights or size needed to obtain gauge
US 5 (3.75mm) long circular for finishing edge
Gauge: 23 sts/ 28 rows = 4” in stockinette on smaller needles, after blocking
