Materials and Details - Basket
Yarn: 370-400 yards ww yarn. Sample was created with 250 yards brown, 50 yards burgundy, 15-30 yards each of 4 different colors.
Crochet Hook: G (4.25-4.5mm), H (5mm)
Notions: Yarn needle for weaving in ends, pins for holding the base together.
Gauge - not necessary for project, but provided for comparison.
Base section: 4” with an H hook - 18 sc rows and 16 sc sts
Basket weave section: 4” with an H hook = 18 post sts
Cluster section: 4” with a G hook = 6 clusters
Measurement: 4.5” high x 14” across the opening x 5” across the opening
Materials and Details - Cloth
Yarn: 240-275 yards ww cotton yarn.
Crochet Hook: I (5.5mm)
Notions: Yarn needle for weaving in ends
Gauge - not necessary for project, but provided for comparison: 4” = 5 clusters and 10 rows
