Breakfast Demon Bag & Plushie
This design started as a custom bag request, and I loved it so much, that I decided to write it up! I hope you love it as much as I do! This is an intermediate-level pattern written in US terms, and it works well in any yarn weight. Blanket yarn results in a large bag/plushie that measures about 10.5 inches in diameter, while acrylic results in a smaller pouch about 5.5 inches across. Actual size will vary depending on yarn and tension. Have fun making this breakfast demon and “may all your bacon burn!”
Supplies:
Yarn of your choice.
red, yellow, orange, black, and white for the main body
white and yellow for the eggs
cream and burgundy for the bacon
You’ll only need scrap amounts of yellow, orange, white, cream, and burgundy. You’ll need about half a skein of red & black.
Hook to match your yarn. I use a 6.5 mm with blanket yarn and a 3.75 mm with acrylic
9 mm safety eyes for acrylic, 12mm for blanket yarn (sizing depends on preference and yarn used)
12 gauge wire (optional but recommended for the bag version)
duct tape (only if using wire)
Hot glue gun & sticks (optional or you can sew the food on top)
blunt-tipped needle for sewing
poly-fil
