Breast in Show Snuggle
This pattern came into existence at the request of my daughter, who is trying to wean my grandson from breastfeeding. Lucca is one of those babies that takes great comfort in his mother’s breast, and if he doesn’t have them while you are trying to get him to sleep, he pinches you, or rolls the skin of your elbow around…which if you don’t know, is quite a “yucky” feeling.
We are hoping this blanket comforts him, and makes the transition easier on him.
To complete this pattern you will need:
- 250-260 of Blanket Yarn. I used Yarn Bee Cozy Occasion (two colors)
- Size L/8.00mm Crochet Hook (I use Boye)
- Size P-Q/15mm Hook (Yarnology)
- Large Needle for sewing in ends
- Poly-fil
This pattern works up super quick!
GAUGE for this pattern is as follows:
- Blanket Gauge—P/Q HOOK- Approximately 2 DC and 2 rows = 2 inches
- Breast Gauge—L HOOK- Approximately 5 SC and 4 rows = 2 inches
• Finished blanket measures 26.5 inches by 26.5 inches.
