Breathe and Hope
Warning: If you have issues with Sharon From Security (Casapinka’s cat and underpaid employee) sending out pattern updates, you should not buy this pattern.
Wow, you guys participated and made over $800,000 for LYS’s during Mini-LYS weekend!
If you still want to help LYS’s by buying kits, see the links here.
Aqua sample shown in Emma’s Yarn Super Silky in A: Ice Ice Baby, and B: Eighties Rewind. You can buy kits for it here.
Pattern Details and Suggested Materials
Boomerang/asymmetric triangle shape - like Albuquerque Sunset
15” deep by 78” at neck edge
Intermediate beginner and no brioche
US 4 and Us 6, 24” or longer needles needed (for average tension)
2 skeins of fingering weight yarn - A and B don’t really matter but this is what I did:
Color A (solid) - 400 yards
Color B (variegated) - 400 yards
10% wiggle room is built into my patterns for yardage so that is up to you if you are going to use less than 400 yards.
Video of K1b stitch is here. This stitch can look a little messy until it is blocked.
Link to “The Knotty Stitch” is here.
Link to how to K1b into a knit st is here.
Updates
Section 8: Row 7 should end in 3 rem, k1 k2tog.
Section 8: Color order should be BABA but it not a big deal at all because both ways are beautiful.
Bind-off: Begin with BO 1 then proceed to Knotty Stitch.
The kitty in the picture is Sharon from Security. If you follow my Instagram or FB you probably already know this.
