Breathe Easy
If you know my crochet patterns, you know that I love to design patterns that are simple, relaxing and typically require only one or two skeins of yarn. For most of my patterns you can dive into your yarn stash for the yarn, and especially for my one skein fingering weight designs.
Breathe Easy is a symmetrical, shallow, triangular-shaped scarf that is crocheted from side to side with fingering/sock weight yarn. The stitch pattern for Breathe Easy plays with the same stitch pattern as my Just Breathe scarf and produces a different shape and design.
This a truly a multi-purpose and easy-to-wear scarf that you can wrap and tie for warmth, or drape loosely for warmer temperatures.
The side to side crochet technique optimizes yarn usage and you can crochet this scarf with about 462 yards (100 grams) of fingering/sock weight yarn. I used two skeins (231 yards/50 grams per skein) of the soft Knit Picks Stroll Tweed sock weight yarn for my scarf in the color “Firecracker Heather” . Be sure to check out all of the lovely colors of this yarn.
Breathe Easy is a no-stress crochet project that is simple to wear so this scarf is great for gifting. You can relax and enjoy the stitches and produce a beautiful handmade scarf for yourself, or for family and friends.
