As I worked on this hat over the summer, the mountain peaks of Breckenridge were always in view. The triangles in the brim of this hat will remind me of a summer of glorious weather when I start shivering this winter. :-)

Work it in any two colors of your choice for a stylish statement. The colorwork in the brim is worked with one color at a time and for just a few rows, making it an easy intro to two-color knitting.

• Brim sizes - Adult S (16”), M(19”), L(22”)

• Colorwork is provided in chart and written form. The rest of the hat directions are in written form only.

• Crown uses a variation of TECHknitter’s truly flat hat top decrease instructions.

• Add some variety by using a varigated yarn for the contrast.

• If you’d like a beanie version, skip the increase row and work the decreases starting at 7”.
