Bredan Cowl
Errata: Embarrassingly I made a rather egregious error on the chart and written instructions for this cowl. The chart was misaligned and a very important purl two together was missed. My apologies for the mistake. Please download version 1.1 for the corrected version. Let me know if you find any further issues with this pattern.

I bought a ball of Red Heart Comfort in Denim Fleck colour as I really liked the colour and tweedy flecks in it. To bring out the best in this yarn, I knew it needed a simple pattern, and I wanted to try a new bobble I had just learned - an elongated bobble stitch. There are also easy cables in this cowl, which make the cowl very springy - it retracts nicely after being stretched. I called this cowl Bredan because it means “to braid or weave” in Old English, and the cables in this pattern weave around the elongated bobbles.
