Bree
Using a gorgeous hand-dyed yarn, Bree starts with an easy drop-stitch lace. This continues as the shawl increases on one side and is joined by stockinette.
Skill Level:
Advanced Beginner: Knit, purl, kfb, k2tog, yo
Yarn:
Approximately 700 yards (685 meters) fingering weight yarn.
Cover sample shown using: 2 Baah Savannah (80% Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon; 400 yards (366 meters) per 100 g) in Blue Moon.
Other sample in: 3 Shibui Reed (100% linen; 246 yards (225 meters) per 50 gr).
Needles:
US 6 (4 mm) 32 inch circular.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.
Gauge:
Approximately 22 stitches by 28 rows = 4” 10 cm
in stockinette after blocking.
Size:
70 inches 178 cm by 38 inches 96 cm after
blocking.
Construction:
Knit flat.
