This pattern is written for both neck warmer and hand warmers.
Only 2 skeins of yarn are need for all pieces. It is recommended that the hand warmers be knit first, with all remaining yarn being used to knit neck warmer. Therefore, no yarn wastage!

The gauge given above is for the hand warmers on 4.5 (US 7) needles. The gauge for neck warmer is 21 sts and 25 rows + 4” on 5.0mm (US 8) needles.

The hand warmers are knit flat, then sewn leaving a thumb opening where stitches are picked up using double pointed needles to knit a nice finish. The neck warmer is knit flat, then fitted to the individual with placement of buttons.

In addition to materials listed above you will need one 28mm fancy button and one 15mm clear button.
