Breeze Block Afghan
This is another of my crochet interpretations of a breeze block design. Many people have said my Faded Love pattern looks like a breeze block pattern and it does! But I did not intend it that way. So I looked at other breeze blocks to see if I could design another one in crochet and this is the result.
The motif in a heavy worsted is about 6” square. I did 24 6” blocks to make this baby blanket size but you can do any number of blocks to enlarge. You can also switch it up with color changes for a different look. Easy stitching with portable repetitive blocks.
This block was part of the Underground Crafter’s Melange Blanket CAL in 2023 and a free version of the block appears on my blog, http://julieyeagerdesigns.com
