Breeze the Butterfly
I designed Breeze because most amigurumi butterfly can’t stand up on their own two wings! Breeze is an adorable butterfly who is sturdy enough to take her place on a play mat or shelf but is soft enough for cuddles too!
This wee cutie measures 5” tall (including her antenna) but you can make her bigger or smaller just by changing the yarn weight and/or hook size.

To complete this pattern, you’ll need:
DK weight yarn in two colours. In the sample shown I used Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine 120 in Apfel for the body and Cascade Sunseeker in Flame for the wings.
Size E (3.5mm) crochet hook
12mm black safety eyes
polyester stuffing
Tapestry needle
Most of this pattern is straightforward: single crochet, increases and decreases. The antenna and wings are a little fiddly, but there are progress photos which should ensure you don’t get lost!
