I love wool, love knitting with wool and love the kids wearing wool. Unfortunately, in summer where I live wool gets too hot to wear at all. I have a massive wool stash so have developed this pattern to be a mode by which I am able to knit in wool all year round.

The bodice of the pattern is minimal giving as little skin contact with the wool as possible, and the skirt is knitted at a non-standard gauge for a very light, flowing fabric, while still maintaining a closed in enough gauge so it isn’t see-through. This has created a breezy, summer weight woolen garment.

Delightfully girlie, the pattern is knitted seamlessly in the round and is simple in its execution and quick to complete.
