I designed Brendan Bluebird for a community project in The Netherlands. The bird body is worked in two pieces which are then joined together with a small amount of toy stuffing used too. Wings and eyes are added on. A beak and two feet are crocheted once the pieces are joined. An optional hanging loop can be used. Although the pattern is in UK crochet terminology, it is made up of double crochet stitches only which are US single crochet and it is therefore an easy pattern for everyone o follow.
