I learned how to make this cowl from my knitting friend Brenda, a true Rasta aficionado. She says she always knits this cowl because it is quick and easy and makes the perfect gift. I’ve handwritten the instructions numerous times because knitters are always asking for something quick and easy in Rasta. You see, the shelf with the Rasta yarn is right next to the table where we all sit and knit at Knitty City (best LYS ever). So I was inspired to formalize it into an actual pattern for more knitters to enjoy.

As a memory aid, I called it “15 on 15” because, basically, it’s 15 stitches on size 15 needles. Seed stitch. Gauge is unimportant, even unnecessary. Easy, right?
