Brenna’s crochet lace, light as air can be worn as scarf or wrap, made wider like a shawl, skinny or extra long. This is the first design of several I’m working on.
The key to this design is lace weight wool yarn, larger size hook and blocking to create that airy effect. The stitch pattern “motif” is 10 rows designed into 5 staggered repeats, (the 10 rows become easy to remember after a couple of reps). The odd number of reps creates a nice scallop edge that can be left alone or finished with the enclosed edging or fringe or edge of your choice!

Reversible design.

Sample finished size: unblocked 10”x76”, blocked 12.5”x 94”

Gauge is not essential for this project (blocking is essential!).
