Brentrelac Scarf
Brentrelac is related to entrelac knitting. Brentrelac units are worked with brioche stitches. As typical for brioche, the scarf is reversible, and the fabric does not curl at the edges.
This is rectangular scarf, started at one of the corners and worked in three parts up towards the end corner. Scarf is built with bias tiers of brentrelac units. Size is easily customizable by adding as many tiers as preferred. Weighting yarn in the beginning and at the end of first part is helpful to determine when to start the last part. Any weight yarn can be used to make lighter or heavier shawl, but the needle size will need to be adjusted according to the yarn weight.
Being familiar with both entrelac and brioche knitting is helpful with this pattern. The pattern has no technique tutorials, but has a detailed photo to describe the construction of the shawl. Pattern uses loop cast-on and has picked up stitches.
