Breton Spice
A top down yoke with an abundance of colour and texture, Breton Spice will keep you on your toes as you work those fingers. This is an intermediate pattern - confidence with sweater construction will leave your mind free to explore the stranding and catching techniques, and manage your yarn.
This pattern uses four colours. When choosing yours consider the following:
Colour 1 (light, neutral)
- shown in Memory of a Goldfish, white with speckle
Colour 2 (bright or medium, pops against C4)
- shown in Kalinka, red/pink with speckle
Colour 3 (bright, pops against C4)
- shown in Sulphur Springs Eternal, acid yellow
Colour 4 (dark, neutral) - shown in Metropolis, tweed-flecked blue
Getting Gauge: If necessary, change needles to match gauge in colourwork sections and and plain stockinette.
