Brick
by Mich Hooker
Brick gets its name from the central oblong holes that alternate in a brick-like fashion. The construction features an interplay between thicker and thinner yarns. (And if you can’t find fingering weight in the color you want, it’s easy to unply a worsted down to the desired size.)
This quick unisex scarf makes a great gift for him or her.
This pattern is written in US terms.
Skill level for this scarf is EASY.
YARN A: Worsted/Aran or a heavy DK (~171 yards)
YARN B: Fingering or Light Sport (~110 yards)
FINAL SIZE: 5×52” (not counting fringe)
HOOK: H/8 5mm (main)
HOOK: L/11 8mm (for pulling fringe)
