Brick and Mortar Cowl

This simple slipped stitch colorwork technique is easier than it looks! Only one strand of yarn is used at a time, and the yarn not in-use gets carried up every 2 rounds when switching between colors.
Uses about 110 yds of the main color (shown in “Carbon”, the solid gray color) and 60 yds of the contrast color (shown in “Unicorn Eggs”, the multi-color).
With one skein each of this yarn, there is enough left over to make a second cowl in the reverse colors! (see photo)
Pattern will work with any 2 colors of fairly high-contrasting worsted weight yarns. My next one will be with a Noro yarn!
