Brick Street Hat
A beautifully textured hat that is fast and easy to make. In all sizes from newborn through to Adult.
Difficulty: Easy
The stitching is worked over a 5-row repeat, but don’t let this put you off. It’s remarkably simple! Set a stitch marker for the beginning of each row and keep going around and around. It’s that easy.
Note: The unique texture is made by a staggering of the front post stitches (instructions given) and by working each hdc into the space between the stitches instead of into the top two loops of the stitch, as you normally would.
Sizes:
0-3 months 12-14” Circumference; 5.5” length
3-6 months 14-16” Circumference; 6” length
6-12 months 16-17” Circumference; 6.5” length
