Are you looking for some good “TV knitting”? This is the perfect project! Even a new knitter can make this blanket with ease! All you need to know is how to cast on, knit, and bind off! There is no a single purl in the entire pattern!

Bricks and Blocks was designed with Wonderland Yarns’ exquisite Mad Hatter yarn.

Sizes (finished dimensions)
Baby Blanket – 42 x 35 inches or 107 x 89 cm blocked Throw – 60 x 52 inches or 152 x 132 cm blocked
Twin – 90 x 66 inches or 229 x 168 cm blocked

Yarn
Frabjous Fibers – Wonderland Yarns –
2 (5, 8) skeins of Mad Hatter (shown in “Goat’s Beard #40”)
2 (2, 4) coordinating Mad Hatter gradient packs – (shown in Mimsy #25 & Hookah Smoke #26)

Gauge
20 sts and 36 rows to 4 inches in garter stitch (worked flat, knit every row)
To ensure that you have enough yardage, you must block your swatch. While a slight difference in the size of the finished blanket wouldn’t be a big deal, a difference in gauge also impacts the amount of yarn you will use.
