For the brickaholics !

A pattern inspired by the floor of my son’s bedroom ;)

The socks are knit from the toe up in the round with fingering yarn, and have a standard short-row heel.

The pattern is written, with 2 small charts for the colourwork. After the first rounds you’ll be able to knit without looking at the charts.

It’s best to use a solid (dark or light) colour for the background. You can use a lot of colours for the bricks and figures, but need at least 3.
This a a good project to use up leftovers.

For this pattern it is assumed you know how to do stranded knitting, basic toe-up sock knitting (cast on and elastic bind off) and reading charts.
Pattern is written for circular needles, but DPN can be used.

Light sock on the photo: 54st with needle 2,5 mm = foot-lenght 19 cm, width 9 cm.

Dark sock on the photo: 63 st with needle 2,75mm = foot-lenght 25cm, width 10cm.
